Privacy-centered brave browser has recently added a dedicated Binance Smart Chain and wallet integration according to a latest company announcement. The move is expected to appeal to a number of cryptocurrency users who are courting more and more privacy-focused services to stop illegal and legal data snooping from different private and government organizations.

Brave Brower’s Brave Step

The Brave brower was envisaged as a pro-crypto web browser from day one and a new utility token was also announced to popular the platform. While it already gave a considerable customizability for crypto users to integrate any kind of wallet service, the new Binance integration will come as standard from Brave. As a result, crypto users will have a pre-installed feature which will be easier to use and require no extra setting up.

According to CEO of Brave Brendan Eich:

Our hope is that BAT and Brave will take crypto mainstream and to make DeFi user-friendly for the mass market,

The access to Binance Smart Chain and wallet will also allow Brave users other opportunities including the ability to access the ever-growing DeFi sector. Binance is currently leading the way in incubating Decentralized Finance (DeFi) projects. With over 25 million monthly active users and over 7 million daily users, Brave represents a new change in direction for the browser industry. The sector is currently marred by widespread illegal and legal data collection that is obliterating free society concepts like data privacy and other features.

As a result of this move, Brave’s native token BAT rose considerably and now it is sitting close to its all-time highs against the USD itself. However, the future will show just how successful this move is going to be and how attractive users find this new update on the browser.

How will the Move Affect the Browser’s Acceptace?

With Brave’s new move, it will try and tap into the ever-growing market of pro-privacy users, whose numbers are growing every day. This especially came to light during January earlier this year when Whatsapp tried to update its terms of service to allow data sharing with Facebook, but users responded heavily by moving away from the app to other alternatives. In many ways this considerable data privacy conscious market will grow with time and companies are looking to step up to its demands. After Brave, other browsers are also expected to pre-install similar services in the near future.
